How exam preparation works
1Check where you are now and the school you’re aiming for
Looking at the student’s drawings and studies, we check where they are now. We also ask about the target school, exam timing, and their hopes for the future.
2Decide what practice is needed
We go over the hard parts together, such as proportion, light and shade, and composition. Taking the target school’s tasks and the direction of the work into account, we build an individual curriculum for each student.
3Draw, review, then the next task
Looking at the finished drawing, we agree what to fix and what to practise next. We also talk through any worries about the exam and the pace of practice as we go.
